West Virginia Foreclosure Listings

One of the best things about the state of West Virginia is the people. They are a simple and down-home group of folks often referred to as hillbillies. They are a hard people that are self sufficient and very intolerant of outside intervention and set in ways handed down for years.

West Virginia Foreclosure Listings For years the main stay of the state was the coal industry and the making, selling and other distribution of illegal moonshine.

The largest cities in the state are not large at all by the standards of the rest of the country but they are the cities of Charleston, Huntington and Parkersburg. These cities are also the center of the majority of the actual industry that is present in the state at this point in time.

You will find that a lot of the area has deep inbred roots and ties to the civil war that ripped apart the county in the time of Abraham Lincoln. Even today when walking the area you can find remnants of that era still in the towns and rural areas.

One great advantage that people find with being here other than the fairly calm climate is the abundance of antiquing. There are lots of shops in the state that cater to the drive by trade of people looking for old things to re-do and / or to decorate a home with some old relic of the past. There is no shortage of the things that people are looking for here from muskets to old sewing machines and other things that remind us of a simpler era gone by.

West Virginia foreclosure listings take the normal country average of sixty days in which to complete. Once the sale is ordered a notice of that sale has to be placed on the courthouse door and three other public places including the property in foreclosure at least 29 days prior to the actual date of sale.

The sale is in the form of a public auction and upon successfully bidding, the winner is required to pay a minimum of 33 percent of the purchase price immediately with the trustee.
